Christmas Blessings

                                                           As Christmas is rapidly approaching it
                                                           is good to take a few peaceful moments
                                                           to reflect on the real reason we celebrate
                                                           Christmas and to remember how richly
                                                           we have been blessed.

                                                   Today's afternoon Christmas tea is served in my new to
                                                   me teapot. I love the shape  and the unusual color of this old
                                                   transferware teapot that I bought in an antique mall in Wells
                                                   Maine on our holiday last week.

                                                        This transferware teacup was a fluke find in another
                                                        shop and is almost the perfect match for the teapot.      

                                                         

                                                                  Teatime today is being served in
                                                                   the Christmas Cottage.
